The Power of Questions
Achieve a Physical Transformation by asking the RIGHT questions
In many ways successful physique transformation comes down to how well you control your state and your emotions on a moment to moment basis and one of the things that powerfully affects how you control your state is the questions that you ask yourself on a consistent basis.
The trouble is people can get into the habit of asking themselves rubbish questions and they’ll say things like:

“why is this so hard?”
“why can’t I do it?”
“why does this always happen to me?
“why am I such a loser?”
So they ask “why am I so fat?” and their brain goes inside and says “you’re fat because you’re a pig, you’re lazy, and you’re weak!” Obviously this makes them feel worse about themselves and only exacerbates the problem.
Instead, what would it be like if you ask yourself questions like
“how can I achieve my ideal body shape permanently and thoroughly enjoy the process?”
If you consistently ask that type of question on a regular basis, you’ll come up with much better quality answers. You’ll feel positive, proactive and in control.
Start to become aware of your internal dialogue and look out for any dangerous questions that you ask yourself. In particular look out for the word “why?” Asking “why” can frequently make you feel overwhelmed and powerless. Have a look at the “why” questions listed above and notice the implications of asking that type of question in terms of how you feel and the results you get.
A much better question to ask is “how?” Asking
“how can I succeed?”
“how can I make myself better?”
“how can I overcome this challenge?”
produces much better answers and leads you to a life worth living.
Try the following to build the habit of asking powerful questions:
Every morning ask

What am I grateful for
What specifically am I going to do today to ensure my continued progress towards my goals?
Every time you reach for food ask
Do I need the fuel and nutrients or am I trying to use food to change how I feel?
If really you just want to change how you feel then ask
How can I change my state without food?
If you feel tempted to skip a training session ask
What are the negative implications of being a procrastinator?
How great will I feel after the session?
What do I love about training?
What are the rewards of training consistently?
What can I focus on to increase my motivation and commitment?
How can I make this training session fun?
Every evening ask
What was great about today?
What have I learnt from today?
How can I improve for next time?
Asking and answering these types of questions sincerely and consistently will make a significant improvement to how you feel and the results that you get in all areas of your life, whether you want to achieve a lean, athletic physique, make a career move or improve your relationships.
