Training with Kettlebells - Deadlift
Easy to get started with, but very effective!
Added:Tue, 27th April 10
This is the first in my series "Working with Kettlebells" and is a nice easy one to start with, but very effective. The dead lift is one of the best leg exercises you can do – working the quads, glutes, hamstrings and your abs as well.
1
Stand with feet slightly apart
Place kettlebell on the outside of each foot
2
Push your bottom back
Squat down with head up and forward
Keep weight back on heels
3
Grasp a kettlebell firmly in each hand
Stand up in a controlled movement

Stand up in a controlled movement
Weights
Choose weights to make the exercise challenging, but not painful for your muscles!
Repetitions
5 sets of 5 repetitions
