Mind Over Matter - The Military Way!
Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go.
Added:Mon, 26th April 10
In the end, no amount of encouragement will push a man to his limits.
Only something that comes from within.
Only after breaking through the pain barrier and moving into the euphoric world of supreme pride will drive a man on.

So what’s stopping you? The weather? Because you trained yesterday? Or because you ache a little? If you are injured then that’s it, you rest?
Too many people think that what is written in magazines, or what their personal trainers tell them, is gospel.
`

As we come from the military environment that sort of thing is classed as an easy day. But because we have done it before, we know we can do it again and more!
So what’s better for building your stamina and endurance than thinking you can do it, doing it and then knowing you can do it again. If you aim to push another two hill reps and you only make the one, then it is not a failure. You have done one more than youj did before, and you know you can do it again next time.
One of the problems with training is that we quickly forget what we were like as children. We used to run around constantly in our P.E. lesson in basic plimsoll pumps, then run around the playground in our hard soled school shoes. Or we would race round solid for the whole of our six week holiday, not wanting to rest and rarely ever getting an injury.
Sometime later in our early teens, we seem to stop wanting the busy race around life of our childhood, and get comfy doing other things. Before you know it we are out of shape and wanting to change, but are straight away sucked in by the commercial fitness industry bubble telling us what we do and how to do it.
Our aim over the coming months is to get you where you want to be, get you to believe in yourself, so that you can do high levels of fitness without all the rests , ice baths and rubdowns and all for free.
Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go
