Pilates is the answer to Paris’s perky buttocks!

You may think that Paris Hilton’s life is all champagne and canapés, but I can in fact inform you that the Simple Life star is very much a devoted fan of Pilates.

‘I don’t want to lose weight but I just wanted to look really good. I started Pilates’ Says Paris.

It was even rumoured that she performed a few Pilates moves to keep her toned (and sane too I should imagine) during her stint in prison in 2007. Not such a simple life after all is it Paris!

Here is a great exercise to help to get you toned!

Engage the pelvic floor, hollow the navel to the spine and bring both knees above the navel. Peel the head off the mat and place the hands on the knees.

As you breathe, in extend the arms above the head and take the legs out and up towards the ceiling.

On the out breath, sweep the arms around down by the side and bring the knees back into the chest so that you are hugging yourself.

Repeat 5- 10 times.

Quick Tip!

Make sure that your back remains firmly imprinted into the mat and keep your tummy hollowed. Don’t let the arms go behind the head and don’t let the head drop back. As you get stronger you can lower the height of the legs towards the floor.
