What is a Calorie?

Many couples are concerned about dieting whether it’s for weight loss (women) or weight gain (men); therefore, you’re almost certain to come across the word "calorie". You may ask hundreds of people what a calorie is and most will tell you it is "the thing in food that makes me fat."

Calories have a bad reputation and are considered by many to be the enemy! Only true if you eat too many and don’t burn enough!

A calorie by definition is the ENERGY it takes to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water 1 degree Celsius. Calories provide essential fuel for our body.

Energy Burning Couple Activities

Exercising with your partner can introduce benefits other than the obvious health-related advantages. The good news is working out together can increase bedroom activities - since exercise increases libido, stamina and on the whole tends to make you feel better and more attractive. Exercising as a couple also allows you to spend extra time together while doing something positive for your health and wellbeing.
