How many of you have been trying to lose weight for a long time, have tried every diet under the sun, and found that nothing seems to work for you? 95% of people who go on a “diet” fail, and their approach can have long term harmful effects on the body.
Diets are Hard
Most diets have you making immediate and huge changes to your eating – even putting you on pills, shakes, bars and other potions that are nothing to do with normal healthy eating! They offer no education or learning about healthy and balanced nutrition. You don’t like what you are eating and don’t feel satisfied. So you soon return to the way you were.
The Diet Downer

Negative Feelings

The Yo Yo!
You want quick results and have no guidance to help you be more realistic. You expect to achieve rapid weight loss in only a few weeks by eating significantly fewer calories with no mind to the nutrients your body needs. You don’t exercise. Your metabolism slows, you feel tired and lethargic, and start to get sick. So it is not worth it and back you go again.
Lapse or Collapse
Many diets are very strict and require a lot of willpower and control. They are only good for as long as you are on them. They fail to address the emotional and psychological aspects that brought about the overeating or weight gain in the first place. Dieting does not resolve these problems. So, you lose your weight – hurray! – but are still coping with whatever problems or pressures you had in the first place.
Diet or Life Change?
Many dieters underestimate the amount of willpower, control, and psychological, physical and emotional change that is involved. Diets don’t look at you as a whole person – they are aimed solely and exclusively at quick weight loss – no more and no less.
Successful weight control is about life change – not about a “diet”. Working alongside professionals – nutrition advisors, fitness instructors, alternative therapists, psychologists and even hypnotherapists – will help you look at the “whole” you, and you are more likely to achieve what you want – a lean, healthy, happy body!
