Elle's got an Endermologie Secret Part 2

It is is good enough for Elle McPherson ....... and you don't have to go under the knife for amazing results

Here my story continues - this is what happens to you - before, during and after.

First of all I was measured and had my photos taken so that I could compare the results after my course of treatments. I was told that I needed at least 6 sessions in order to see the results and 10 sessions for it to work properly. I had also opted for the detox wraps, which apparently aid even speedier results. Now I was REALLY excited!. Not only could I expect to banish my cellulite, this treatment also helps with muscle stiffness (hence the reason it is used by the Chelsea players), back pain, toning, loose skin, water retention and inch loss.

A body scrub was applied and then washed off. This was followed by an over all application of the detox cream - it smelled pure and invigorating which made me think it was going to do some good! It must contain some kind of menthol product - it made the skin quite cold and tingly - but all good for the stimulation I guess.

I was given a rather unflattering white body stocking to slip into, as the rollers on the machine should not be placed directly onto the skin. Hey, I will do anything to beat the bumpy thighs. It was quite a tricky and sticky task to don this fashionable garment, but I made it. I was then told to lie on the bed, cover up with a blanket and ordered to rest for half an hour - banishing cellulite was never so easy!

After half an hours snooze it was time for the Endermolgie. The consultant rolled the machine over my whole body. You can opt for a whole body treatment or just concentrate on problem areas. I would recommend the whole body because it encourages good blood flow. It was all pretty relaxing and I could feel myself dozing off - but not to be. I did find the treatment a little uncomfortable in some areas and even a quite painful on the back of the arms! The whole treatment took about an hour and a half and I was left feeling relaxed and light as a feather.

I did not notice much until after about the fourth treatment when I start to see a difference and then I was quite positively encouraged! My lumps and bumps were definitely feeling smoother, I was feeling better in my clothes and even my mum (who always gives me honest comments about my bottom) said I looked trimmer!

As the sessions continued, the results seemed to improve bit by bit. Admittedly I had reverted to my healthier eating regime, as well as doing my usual Pilates sessions and gym work, but not obsessively. I had cut out alcohol, which I managed to do for a whole three and a half weeks in total - impressive, huh? I figured that if I was going to undergo this treatment, I might as well commit to it fully. The combination of diet, exercise and the Endermologie was definitely making a welcomed change to my body.

After the course was completed, I had my pictures and measurements retaken. I was delighted! I had lost an impressive total of 3.5 inches from my thighs, waist and hips. Of course the results vary from person to person and it does depend on body shape, how much you have to lose in the first instance and how much you are willing to make other changes to your lifestyle.

My cellulite is not completely banished and I will need to keep up the treatments on a once a month basis to encourage the fat cells to keep breaking down. If I don't, after a period of time the problems may start to build up again (especially if I overindulge!). My resounding verdict is that Enderologie is worth a go, especially if you don’t like the idea or the cost of going under the knife and those stubborn fatty areas are proving too hard to shift with diet and exercise alone.
